Arriving at Bristol’s Bierkeller pretty early in order to be ahead in the queue and also see if I could get a chance to meet up with the one and only Steve Harris. The band informed me that Steve was traveling by car due to a mix-up with the tour bus that they ordered.

The time reached 19.30 the doors opened and we all went inside. The first band on was “The Raven Age”. The band had a great crystal clear sound you could hear everything and they put together a great set-list. They got the crowd warmed up for Steve. What a great support act for the “Lions” and I believe that in a couple of years they (The Raven Age) will escalate to next level in music industry.

After a quick change over Steve and the boys hit the stage… With no introduction they opened with “This Is My God” followed straight away by “Lost Worlds”. The British Lions were playing one song after. We got the chance to hear couple of new songs before their release. They sound amazingly good. I would say slightly heavier than the rest.
Steve was as always… running around, jumping up and down, singing the lyrics and “shot-gunning” us with his Bass.

The bands performance was out of this place. No matter if they play in a club or within a stadium they always gig 100%. I know a lot of people didn’t get the “British Lion” album, but all I say is if you do or don’t like the British Lion… still just go to their concert!!!
