Thomas Zwijsen to release Nylon Maiden in January

Dutch classical guitarist Thomas Zwijsen will release his album, "Nylon Maiden", on January 8, 2013. The CD contains 11 unique arrangements of IRON MAIDEN tracks on classical guitar. Additional musicians on the album are Anne Bakker (violin), Nathanael Taekema (drums), Tony Newton (bass; VOODOO SIX, bass) and Blaze Bayley (vocals; IRON MAIDEN, WOLFSBANE).
Primal Rock Rebellion's Tortured Tone video released

"Tortured Tone", the new video from PRIMAL ROCK REBELLION, the project featuring IRON MAIDEN guitarist Adrian Smith and SIKTH frontman Mikee Goodman, can be seen below. The song comes off the band's debut album, "Awoken Broken", which was released in the U.S. on April 17 and in Europe on February 27 through Spinefarm Records. The CD was produced by Adrian and Mikee, and mixed by Simon Hanhart, whose previous credits include everyone from TIN MACHINE to SAXON. The album features 12 tracks top to tail, and it will be available on digipak CD, digital download and double colored vinyl in gatefold sleeve.
Bruce Dickinson delivers keynote speech at IBM Smarter Business

IRON MAIDEN frontman delivered the keynote speech yesterday (Wednesday, October 10) at the IBM Smarter Business event at the Stockholm Waterfront Congress in Sweden. He finished off his speech with explaining why the MAIDEN song "Run To The Hills" became a hit single.
Iron Maiden announce 5 shows in Germany

More dates have been added to the Maiden England European Tour 2013. Maiden will play 5 shows in Germany. The dates are: the Festhalle Frankfurt on 11 June, the O2 World in Berlin on 18 June, O2 World in Hamburg on 19 June, Open Air Arena Singen-Aach on 29 June and Open Air an der KöPi-Arena in Oberhausen on 06 July.

Bruce Dickinson to open Oxjam Chiswick music festival

On October 20, IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson will open the Oxjam Chiswick mini-music festival at the festival's flagship venue The Hogarth Health Club in Chiswick, West London, England. He will officially announce the opening of the event by cutting the cord on the big day around midday as crowds gather to enjoy live music until midnight with over eighty bands lined up across venues up and down Chiswick high Road.

Maiden in Paris the 5th of June

On June 5 Maiden will bring the Maiden England World tour to Paris Bercy, a venue they have played many times before, including on the original Seventh Son tour back in 1988. Tickets will go onsale on Monday, October 15 at 10.00 am, with an exclusive first ticket pre-sale for Iron Maiden Fan Club members which will run from Wednesday, Oct 10 from 09.00 am, closing 6pm Thursday Oct 11. Fan club members will also be eligible in the draw to be ’First To The Barrier’.
British Lion's first-week sales revealed

IRON MAIDEN bassist/founder Steve Harris's solo/side project album, "British Lion", sold around 3,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to enter The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 125. The CD also landed at position No. 3 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
